New 2013 BMW M3 get an inline straight 6 engine

Great news for al BMW M lovers, CEO of BMW north america Ludwigh Willisch has confirmed that a V6 engine was testen bij the BMW M division but wasn’t an option for the new M3. Main reasons for that decision were the gain in weight and unbalance, two thins that will kill the ride and performance of every sportcar (like audi’s ).
Also BMW has a history with producing the inline six cylinder engine and a V6 just didn’t feel right to us. The new 2013 M3 will have around 450 horsepower and comes to the dealers somewhere in 2013.
